Hello I am John Perez a second year student at the University of Connecticut. I am pursuing a Biology degree in the pre-med department and a minor in history. I have worked with kids in the past of ages 5-12 in a tennis summer camp held by the Suffolk County Junior Tennis League. I loved the experience because I was able to learn an essential skill which could be attributed in all parts of life and that is patience. I view kids as the next generation and being positive and spreading good values will not only benefit them but the world in the future. With this in mind, I love being around kids because they have a simple sense of humor and often times have very intelligent questions in mind.
