I grew up around kids of all ages at my summer house and have been caring for them since I was 14. It comes very naturally to me and even the teenagers of my old roommates would ask when I was coming to visit :) I have cared for children of all ages, including autistic babies, and I remember when one of my autistic toddlers managed to get dressed herself for school and sat on the stairs next to me without falling and it's easily one of the most rewarding moments of my life. I love watching and helping children grow up and I have years of experience, both informally and in school settings as well. I am generally calm and soft spoken but have built forts, drawn with chalk outside all day, threw a campout sleepover party with tents, and had a face painting party (parents included) so I Read more know how to blend fun and structure :) I am open to any sort of arrangement and can begin immediately. I am hoping to work in the childcare field for a long time.
