Hi my name is Amanda, I am 25 years old. I have my associates degree in early childhood from Suffolk County Community College. I have been working with children since my junior year of high school when I enrolled in a Boces program working in a preschool. I love working with all age groups, from infants on. I have experience with all age groups having worked in day cares. I love to be outdoors and do games and activities and crafts. I love to read to children, and come up with fun crafts. I also know some sign language and I enjoy teaching it. I love taking walks, or on trips to the library, and parks, with permission only. I am looking for a full time position, or close to it, Monday-Friday. I am not looking for just a summer or just a school year position. I am available from early in the morning, until about 5 in the afternoon. I don't mind helping out around the house in addition to tidying up after the children, laundry, light cooking, dishes, errands. My rates are negotiable and depend on how many children I would be watching, Roughly $11-$14 an hour, the higher rates being for multiple children.
