Hello! My name is Jessica Thurston and I am getting back into the work field after taking a break to work on my Early Child Hood Education Degree and Raising my own five year old daughter who has started Kindergarten this recent September. After having my own daughter I have gained even more of an appreciation of children and the way they grow and learn through love and play. Throughout my many years of experience, I have worked with children, from babysitting, to the number of college courses, the sit in classes with Child Care Solutions, the positions I've held as an assistant and a lead teacher in daycare/ preschool programs, as well as being a mother to my own little girl, I have learned the importance of treating and getting to know each child as an individual.Observing their likes and dislikes and planning specific activities for each child. I Read more take pride in the amount of patience and understanding I have with working with children of all different ages but with the same dedicated purpose in making a connection and forming a strong relationship with every child I've ever worked with. I believe that childhood is a beautiful journey of learning and playing. A journey that every child deserves a fair start at filled with meaningful experiences, adults that take an interest to them and their interests. No matter what their situation or where they come from, every child must have meaningful life experiences in order to help them reach their full potential.
