I've been working with kids all my life. Growing up in Texas, babysitting was my summer job all throughout high school and college. After graduating from Ouachita Baptist University with a degree in musical theatre, I moved on to tour nationally and internationally with two well respected children's theaters: Missoula Children's Theatre and Dallas Children's Theatre. My two and a half years with these companies allowed me the privilege to teach and connect with kids from all over the world. Since moving to Long Island City in September of 2013, I cared for three young girls,(1,3,and 4 year-olds) full time, in Brooklyn, while auditioning for musical theatre as well. For the past four years I have worked as a Teaching Artist for Broadway Bound Kids, an Arts Education non-profit. I run two free community programs as well as direct 5 full scale musicals per year.
