I am seeking a summer childcare position in Manhattan, although after the summer I would be available for occasional nights/weekends. I am a former first grade teacher from Seattle, which I left to pursue a doctorate in Curriculum and Teaching at Columbia University. I have a Bachelors degree in English Literature and a Masters in Elementary Education, along with a teaching certificate from Washington state. Throughout college, I nannied, both short and long-term, for multiple families. I also helped run outdoor summer camps. I love working with children in all capacities. Educational activities and working with children on early literacy skills is a particular passion of mine. My husband and I live in Manhattan.
