My name is Alexandra. I am currently looking for a part-time morning to mid-afternoon babysitting or nannying job to supplement my current position. (Preferably morning until 2 pm but I can be flexible). I am available full days on Monday as well as night time/weekend babysitting. I have been with an amazing family on the UES for almost 3 years, but as the kids are getting older and going to school I am only needed for after-school hours T-F. I am 23 years old and just recently graduated from FIT. I'm originally from Westchester, though I currently live on the UES. I have been nannying professionally in both Manhattan and Westchester for the past ten years, beginning as a mothers helper and transitioning into full-time nanny roles. I'm extremely outgoing and responsible, and I know the ins and outs of all things kid-friendly throughout the city!! I have also traveled with families in the past as well! In addition to school drop off/pick up I set up play dates, bring the kids to the various parks in the city, as well as their afternoon classes. I have been a household manager; organizing play dates, preparing healthy lunches, cooking dinner, scheduling, planning vacations, planning birthday parties, and administrative work. My past duties have included walking home from school, meal preparation, changing/bathing, making bottles, light housekeeping, homework help, getting ready for bed/ naps, etc. I'm fluent in English. I'm comfortable with pets.

Alex is a refreshingly responsible, caring, honest and trustworthy caregiver. She has been impressively professional both in her interactions with me and with my children. She is reliable and attentive, and has a natural ease with adults and children alike. Alex is friendly and personable; a generally upbeat person. She is thoughtful and cares about children, and is able to both set limits and empathize with kids' needs.
