Hello, My name is Kafayat and I am from the Chicagoland area. I have tons of past experience working with children ranging in different ages. For two past summers (2009 and 2012) I was the chaperone for young dancers ages 9-17 for the Joffrey Ballet in Chicago. We stayed in the dorms for three weeks and I was responsible for making sure they were okay, dealing with homesickness and any other problems they had while there. I also have two years of experience as a Sports Based Youth Development Coach. Through my Americorps term in NYC, I worked as the lead half-time coach for the non-profit I was working with the previous year of my time in NYC. I coached young girls in a variety of sports while teaching them life skills along the way. Overall, I am a responsible person that knows how to look out for others.
