Hello, my name is Chelsey. I have been a nanny for 9 years and I have worked for 4 families, with a few sporadically in between. I also have a brother who is two and a sister who is four, whom I watch regularly and have helped raise since they were born. I was working for a family before I moved to New York for a two year old little girl and I was with her from about 6 months. I have nannied all ages, newborns all the way to supervising a 14 year old while the parents were out of town. I feel very comfortable with all ages, and confident in my abilities to be a great caregiver, nanny, or house manager for any child, or children. I am generally laid back, and I would love to mold a close relationship with the children, but I have worked for a family that required structure and discipline. I am great at setting boundaries and enforcing rules, but I always base my philosophies case by case. I understand that all families are different, and once I am in your home, it's your rules. I am in art school, so I am very creative by nature. I love to do arts and crafts, and I am really good at coming up with new activities. I love to be organized and make schedules and plans, but I am also okay with having a more flexible schedule. I am also active and love to play games, and do physical activities. As I said before, I am pretty laid back and versitile. I can totally aclimate to most situations and I pick up on things quickly.
