Hello, I am a graduate of University of Maryland where I obtained my graduate degree in social work (specialized in clinical work with families and children). I have a personal and professional passion for working with children, teens, and their families. I have babysat and nannied for families in NYC, from infants to pre teens. In my professional experience, I have worked in numerous positions as a social worker working with children and teens (providing therapy). Currently I work as an ABA therapist (applied behavior analysis) with children with autism in a special education setting. As a therapist, I help kids work through difficulties, gain confidence and self esteem, and manage their behavior and emotions. I also worked for 2.5 years as the director of children's programming where I supervised and ran an after-school art program and camp.
