Hello! My name is Amy. With 10+ years working with children between the ages of infants to young teenagers. My love of babysitting and nannying eventually led me to pursue my Masters in edcuation. Sitting isn’t just a movies and pizza setting for me; I enjoy engaging with children through running around outside, playing board games, doing arts and craft activities, going on outings to museums and parks, whatever else keeps your children captivated and having fun. We needed a last minute babysitter for our trip to NY so my husband and I could go see a show. I have never used a babysitter out of town (and have never had someone watch our kids outside our own home!) so I was a little nervous about handing my 3yr old and 15mo old over to someone in a huge unkown city. There was no reason to be nervous though! Amy took my kids for almost a full day letting them play at the park, go to a lego exhibit, and even let my little girl get a manicure (which she LOVED!). Both kids had a blast and my 3yr old is still begging me to leave with Daddy so she can go play with the babysitter again! I have several friends with kids that are planning NY vacations this summer and I have passed along her info with no hesitation. We fully plan on using her again this summer when we are back!
