This is tough to write as we really liked Amanda when we met with her. She had committed to working with our family after meeting in person, with a start date set for 3 weeks out. However when we attempted to send her a background check authorization, she was unresponsive to this request and failed to send it back over a period of a few days. Out of the blue we received a text saying that she was no longer interested in the position, and she wished us the best of luck - not even a phone call communicating this message. We were disappointed with her lack of courtesy with the process and poor communication.
