Hello families of the DMV area! My name is Gabriela and I am currently looking for a nanny position with the right family! A little bit about my work background, I have 8+ years of overall childcare experience—7 of which I have spent as a professional nanny—during which I have worked with children of all ages, from newborns to teenagers. I have always loved spending time with kids and working with them in any capacity, and as such I always do the utmost to ensure that their needs are met and their absolute safety is guaranteed. I enjoy all sorts of indoor activities such as reading, singing and dancing, arts and crafts, creative sensory play, and board and card games. However, I am also very active and love to be outdoors as much as possible. Some of my interests include music and film, learning languages, and volunteering through different avenues in my community. I am also bilingual—as a fluent native speaker of both Spanish and English—and I'm currently studying Portuguese, Korean, and German. Another important part of me is my love for animals, as I have 3 dogs of my own, and am more than comfortable around all kinds of pets. Lastly, I would like to point out that I am a VA and Nationally Registered EMT, and subsequently CPR certified and vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19.
