For all families I have worked for I have provided child care services including daily reading with the children to encourage an interest in and love of literature, prepared nutritional daily meals, organised excursions to the park and community events, and instilled values of a love for learning and caring for others. For those in school while under my care, I assisted with homework and other school projects. I have been caring for children since I was a young teenager when I would volunteer at a day care center near my home and throughout my years in the child care service I have found that children are a gift to be nurtured and moulded into bright young capable individuals, and that is how I approach my job as a babysitter or nanny. Whether it is someone struggling with learning disabilities, or star scholars, or budding athletes, I have learned how to quickly adapt to each child’s individual needs. I encourage their interests and develop within them a love for learning and other cultures particularly through reading and music. I utilise my versatile education to broaden their educational horizons as best I can while still offering a loving and nurturing environment so that they may explore the world and grow into the talented individuals they already show themselves to be.
