My name is Claire and I am 23 years old. I have always had a passion for caring for children and got involved in babysitting at a young age for some neighbors and some members of my church. Later on I worked at a small day care in Connecticut first with 3-4 year olds and later in the infant room (6 weeks to 18 months). More recently I recieved my bachelors degree in Health and Human services and a minor in Spanish from St. John's University. I started as an early and special education major but realized as much as I enjoyed that, my true passion was more along the lines of social work and child welfare and advocacy. Throughout college I did a lot of my volunteer work at Heartshare First Step preschool first with 2-5 year olds with extreme autism and later with 3-5 year olds in an Read more integrated special education class. Since moving to New York for school I have taken up waitressing to support myself. Recently I am also a part time personal assistant for a doctor on the upper east side. My duties include running errands, helping around the house and office, organization, shopping, and a lot of pet care for her beautiful labradoodle! Occasional errands and cleaning for her kids as well (although they are older, one 14 and one in college). I have an incredibly flexible schedule, and I am most trustworthy. I am almost completely fluent in Spanish, I love to read, and a very positive outlook on just about everything!
