Hello, my name is Lauren. I have been babysitting for the past 13 years, but once I turned 20, I began to focus more on nanny duties. Currently, I am 26 and a college graduate from FIT in NYC. I am originally from PA, then moved to NYC for 6 years, and now am here in LA! Previous jobs I have held have varied from full time, part time to even nannying and helping run a household. I have worked with over 18 children now, from ages 9 months-13 years, boys, girls, and even twins! I absolutely adore working as a babysitter/nanny. The experience is always so rewarding, and I have met so many wonderful children and families. While working as a sitter, I am fun - yet responsible and reliable. It is not a boring job as I'm always finding things for the kids to do, such as games, Read more readings, arts and crafts, sports and activities. For the younger kids, I love musical play, imaginative games, and legos! I was very active in arts classes through high school, and as a child I used to play the flute. I am a very creative individual, and I love music and any art form. I also love sports too - I used to dance (tap,jazz) and played soccer for 14 years. I am also an excellent swimmer, as I was on a swim team too. I lead a healthy, active lifestyle and I find this reflects in my work as a sitter. I am also open to going on outings with the children - to the movies, lunches, museums, parks, and zoos and aquariums. Along with this, I provide light house cleaning, light meal prep, errand running, grocery shopping, and laundry if needed. Also - I am an animal lover so completely pet friendly and am willing to walk and take care of any furry animal members - or any cold blooded family members! Prior jobs have had me help with pick ups and drop offs, homework help, tutoring, party planning, meal preparation, transport to sports and activities, play and musical groups the the young ones, and ensuring the children are ready for bed and their next day! I am open to part time work as well as date night work. I hope to hear from your family soon!
