I am 25 years old living in the East Village in Manhattan. I grew up in State College, PA and graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies and a minor in Commercial recreation. I spent the summer before graduation interning with the Tulane Infant Team in New Orleans. They are a group of psychiatrists, psychologists and social workers who work with kids under 6 who have been through child abuse. Through working with them, I have been able to learn and understand the importance of a healthy attachment between child and caregiver. Because of this, I think it is extremely important that the children feel comfortable and happy with their caregivers. That is what I strive to do. I enjoy reading and spending time outside.
