I have been teaching groups of kids for the past two years now in a performance arts type setting and have loved it so much! I thrive on kids wanting to explore their creativity/imagination and am willing to be a goofball in order to provide a fun atmosphere for kids. However, I am also a huge stickler when it comes to the safety and discipline of children, making sure they are always in my sight at all times (or am made aware of their whereabouts), condoning dangerous play fighting/body space when it comes to kid interactions and reminding kids in regards to respect, sharing and other related lessons. On top of my teaching experience, I have provided after care for groups of up to 70 children, where I successfully kept these groups of kids in a secure/safe environment before their parents picked them up.
