I am a 23 year old graduate student at NYU and I am studying Secondary Science Education. I got my Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Providence College in Rhode Island. After I graduated, I looked into careers in the medical field, and became certified as a nursing assistant. I loved helping people, but I was not sure if the medical field was truly my calling. On the side, I tutored science, math and SAT to neighbors and friends. I loved tutoring so much that I decided to look into the education field. I became a Teaching Assistant in my hometown of Garden City, Long Island in the elementary schools, and I fell in love with teaching. Currently, I spend my days student teaching Living Environment in a high school on the Lower East Side, and I take a few classes a week at NYU Steinhardt. I also just got hired Read more as an official Kaplan SAT Tutor. I love kids of all ages, and I have been babysitting for my two younger sisters, cousins, neighbors and friends for over 10 years. I am responsible, reliable, respectful and fun!
