As you will see from the attached resume, I’ve worked and volunteered in a variety of roles and industries, mostly in places where I could serve others and work closely with people. Working as a Youth Pastor was the most rewarding job I’ve had in my career. The lessons I learned from the students in Arlington have given me a passion for students. I was a student teachers aid, 3rd grade basketball coach, Sunday school pre-k teacher, youth ministry intern, youth sponsor as well. I’m used to always being around youth and children, and I sincerely enjoy working with them; I thrive in an environment where I can love and serve people. My experience working with children and youth has given me a deep rooted compassion and love for students. In my last position as a youth pastor, I worked with a team of leaders that sought to mentor and Read more disciple young students into whole and healthy men and women. We did this through relationship, by doing life with each student and their families. For 4 years we invested and worked hard to love these boys and girls, and their families; when I left last year, we were reaching up to 20 students and their families in our community. Most of these boys and girls all came from single parent homes and needed a father, mother, brother, or sister to come alongside them to walk with them through their challenges in life. It was the most rewarding position I’ve ever had and I will forever implement the passion and love and the lessons learned from the students at Dayspring Church in Arlington, TX.
