I have always loved working with children. Early on I knew that I was going to become a teacher. I graduated from Florida State University with a major in elementary education and a minor in child development with reading and ESOL endorsements. I am also certified to teach voluntary pre-kindergarten (VPK) classes. I am first aid, CPR, and AED certified. While living in Florida I taught second and fifth grades in the public school system. Currently I am working at a preschool and after school. Beginning at age 12 began to babysit and still continue to do so today. I love teaching children new and exciting things! It is amazing to look back and see how far individual children have come and see that they are still continuing to grow.
