Hello there! My name is Hillary and I have lived in NYC for just a year now. I moved from my home state of Iowa to live here – a city I have only dreamed about. As the oldest of three, I grew up helping my parents with my youngest brother, who is eight years younger than I am. Outside of the home, my caregiving experience started at the age of 12. Throughout high school and college, I was a nanny for families with children between the ages of three months and 14 years. In 2013 I graduated from the University of Iowa after studying Communications, Business, and Mandarin (I am not fluent). If you do desire your child to learn Spanish, I have started to study this again on my own and would be happy to incorporate that into a routine, as I feel language is very important. After Read more college, I worked in Planning – both in transportation and retail and have recently chosen to leave. I am looking for a family that I connect with, and one that connects with me. In my free time I love to take dance classes, bake, try new restaurants, boat, travel, and spend time with the people I love most.
