Would not recommend

Very unprofessional. Canceled on us at 5AM the day she was suppose to babysit our son. She did not want to walk to the subway that early in the morning by herself. She knew that was the time she would need to leave for a week prior to showing up. She then would not return a single phone call or text message. She basically dropped off the face of the planet after canceling. I had to call out of work due to her crazy antics. She had watched our son many times prior to this. I would not recommend her. She was very unprofessional and unreliable.

Provider's Response

I did respond and informed Jonah and Erin Young that I was unable to babysit their son that day. The main reason for me not wanting to babysit for them anymore is that they are a very malicious couple and would take weeks to pay me my wages after babysitting their son. I would have to make numerous calls before they consider paying me. This couple does not like to pay after the assignment has been completed and would make numerous excuses about not having money to pay immediately.

The best baby nurse and a wonderful caring person

Colleen was our baby nurse for a few months after our son's birth in 2014. She spent the first night after he was born sitting by my bedside in the hospital, helping me to breastfeed him and change him. I was induced and then had a c section so I was very fatigued from the combination of pitocin, anesthesia and surgery. She came into our home and was a calm and encouraging presence for two new parents caring for their first baby. I feel I was less stressed as a new mom and able to rest and recover from my surgery better because she was in my home every day in those first few months, caring for our son and really caring for me as well. She would bring me tea to help with my breast milk production and bake healthy treats like banana bread for my husband and I to have as a snack around the house.
When we have another baby we will hire her again as our baby nurse.

Provider's Response

Tara C. Thank You!! For the astounding remarks which has led me to remarkable success in my work opportunities.

Great nanny

Colleen was with us for only a short time but she was really good with the boys. I have twin boys and they were four months old. She kept notes of all the things they did, which was helpful for me and she was very calm and gentle with them, even when they were screaming together (definitely a good quality when working with twins!) She was punctual and would come all the way from Newark to Brooklyn and was never late! She also clearly loves children!!

- Charmaine K.

Provider's Response

Charmaine K and Family. I express my appreciation for the compliment. "Thanks" for entrusting me with your very precious twin boys. I treasure this opportunity as well as the probability you have given me to be part of such a Dynamic and Awesome family!!
