My name is Lauren Morgan and I recently moved to Brooklyn after spending some time away performing as an actress throughout the United States. I still continue to audition, but have found that working with children is a passion of mine. I started out as a Mother's Helper when I was young and continued to babysit for various families as I got older. I continue to choreograph and direct for several children's theatre companies in the area and in the city and work with kids from the ages of 2-18, teaching them basic theatre dance and acting as well as choreographing full productions. I believe that working with children is an incredibly rewarding experience because they have as much to teach you as you do them. If they feel like learning to bake cookies or read a new book, then I am there to oblige! Of course education takes priority and if there is studying to be done then that comes first and I am there giving hands on help if necessary. I do have a NY State valid driver's license and my own car. All in all, I am an energetic and responsible individual who believes that communication between everyone is key. If there is something I am doing wrong or you would like to see more of something structured into their days then I take criticism kindly and am happy to make the changes. I love being around children of all ages and can't wait to work with your family!
