I have been working at Newmark Grubb Knight Frank in commercial real estate leasing for 3 years. I am very passionate about my career and I am lucky enough to say I have found my calling. However working within a somewhat strict, corporate environment has left little time for me to enjoy other passions of mine (cooking, crafting, teaching, story telling, exercising, reading and feeling as though I am making a positive difference in the world). Feeling as though something has been "missing", I was prompted to revisit my sittercity profile. I am originally from New Jersey, currently residing in Manhattan. Prior to moving to NYC, I attended and graduated from Boston University where I studied political science. Growing with two younger brothers and several younger cousins, I have always enjoyed taking care of my younger family members. I babysat for several families in high school and college as well. Read more I am a fun loving and active individual whom really enjoys spending time with children. I could be a very positive influence for young children but at the same time appreciate the importance of staying on a schedule and following instructions. I believe it is important to show children that good behavior deserves to be rewarded. Additionally I would feel more than comfortable helping school-aged children with their homework.
