My name is Allexandra Chapilliquen. I grew up in a town called Garfield, New Jersey. I graduated from John Jay College with a degree in international criminal justice and a minor in art. During my teen years, I did a lot of volunteer work with a special needs camp called Camp Acorn. I had the chance to meet some amazing children and teenagers. There I learned how to take care of children and teens with autism. I learned how to listen and communicate in other ways than just verbal. This is where my interest in working with kids started. Since then I've worked with several families as a nanny, mother's helper, tutor and overnight caretaker in New York City. I firmly believe if you can successfully work with kids, you can work anywhere. Those experiences helped me be more patient, kind and understanding and I continue to grow as an Read more individual with each babysitting job. In my free time, I like to spend time exploring the city with good friends. I love to learn new things and pick up a good book when I see one. I love to help others in any way I can.
