I have been caring for children, ranging from newborn to pre-teen, both typically developing and those with special needs, for the past 10 years. I would best describe myself as a team player. Someone who loves to help in any way possible and takes full responsibility for any task assigned to me. I enjoy being a person that is depended upon to help the daily life of a family run as smoothly as possible. I take pride in my discreet and trustworthy nature, my upbeat and positive attitude, paired with my sunny disposition. Additionally, I am always very flexible and willing to learn any skills that the family deems necessary. Aside from being a Nanny, I have nearly two years of Household Management/Personal Assistant experience. In previous positions, I have been tasked with all household related responsibilities, in addition to childcare. Whether appointments needed to be made, grocery shopping done, Read more supervising household maintenance, organization of inventory managed, packing a family for a month long vacation, scheduling dates for summer camp or simply making sure that household pets were cared for. Additionally, I am a New York State and Florida State Certified Nursing Assistant, who is BLS for Healthcare Providers certified (Advanced CPR certified). I have experience both in a fast paced hospital setting as well as experience working with rehabilitation facilities. What I love most about being a nanny, is being able to help children learn as much as possible in a fun and friendly environment. I love being able to be a part of the growth of children that I care for and watching their eyes light up as they achieve their goals.
