Hi, my name is Taylor, and I am a pediatric speech-language pathologist, seeking a summer babysitting job! I am based in Pompano Beach this summer. Though I live in NYC, I have been down in Siesta Key, Florida since early April. I love being fun and silly with children. I enjoy (and can still do) gymnastics and love to sing, do crafts, and act (pretend play!). I have extensive experience working with children of all ages in both therapeutic and child care roles. I have a NYS speech-pathology license, ASHA certification, teaching certificate (TSSLD), and I received my Master's Degree from NYU in 2017. Since graduating, I have been working mainly in special education schools. Many of my students have had autism and neurologically-based communication disorders. Recently, I have been focusing on building literacy and foundational reading skills as well. I currently provide therapy to children of ages 5 to Read more 21.   Prior to beginning my career, I had over 10 years of childcare experience, with infants to teenagers. I worked as a nanny, babysitter, and camp counselor. My duties have included picking children up from school, taking them to and from activities and play dates, playing, making dinner, brushing teeth, bathing, light clean up, reading, bottle feeding, diaper changing, homework help, and bed-time routine.  I have also worked as a camp counselor at Ramapo Country Day Camp in Airmont, NY for six summers.   I love helping children learn and grow.  I find that I learn a lot from them as well!  I am currently looking for part time or full time work, and would be available for additional hours on an as-needed basis.
