I am a twenty year old college student finishing up my second year of college. I am studying Early Childhood Education with the specialization of Health and Science. For my major, I take part in weekly field experience at a Nursery School in a three year old classroom. I have completed 27 hours in this classroom and 7 hours of field experience in a second grade classroom as well. I have always loved working with children and have babysat for various families when needed since I was old enough to do so. I often babysat for two girls after school when their mother was still at work. I watched the girls and helped with homework and meal preparation. I have also worked in my church nursery with infants to eight year old children when needed. I have worked at a summer camp for the past five summers as well. The Read more campers were between the ages of 4 and 18, each week being a different age group. As a Counselor, I was responsible for a cabin or girls each week for six days of the week. I was responsible for them both during the day and at night. I also led and helped with activities such as biking, swimming, rock climbing, and outdoor sports. I am also a very strong swimmer and live an active lifestyle and enjoy healthy eating. I am a nonsmoker and I have experience in meal and snack preparation and homework help. I have a good knowledge of child development and I am certified in CPR and First Aid. I am also a licensed driver with a clean record and own a reliable car. I am a reliable, friendly person with a positive, upbeat attitude and I have a huge passion and love for children.
