Chanee was our full-time nanny for about 6 months, then left us without notice. We left for vacation for 1 week, gave her vacation pay, hugged and said see you next Monday, then the Monday she was due to come in she did not. She blocked my and my husband's numbers on her phone, wont respond to text or email, so I dont know what happened. I later heard from a friend's nanny who called her that she had taken another job during the week we were on vacation. So, she took 1 week of vacation pay knowing (I think) she was leaving, did not give notice which left my husband and I scrambling on Monday morning and for the rest of that week, and has still not returned (its been 2 weeks) our car seat, keys or credit card. In general, Chanee was not a bad caretaker and this review is not about that. If you interview her I would just ask about the circumstances with this.

We interviewed Chanee for a nanny position. She was bright, professional and clicked with our daughter instantly. Her references were great, both as to dependability (she'd never missed a day) and to her great care for kids. We ended up not needing to hire a nanny in the end, which was almost disappointing, as we liked Chanee so much!
