Hello! My name is Lauren, I'm a healthy, active, young adult, and I've been working with children since I was 15 years old, as a babysitter, a big sister, and a nanny. I've cared for children all the way from infants to young teenagers. Keeping kids active and their minds engaged is so important during their developmental years. Being outside, reading books, as well as educational trips is a priority of mine. I'm not afraid to roll around in the mud, jump in puddles, and have the ability to keep up with even the most high energy child. Allowing kids to be kids as well as forming them to someday be young adults and members of society is such a fun balance to discover day in and day out. I understand parents want the best for their children and being home themselves is not always possible, having a caregiver in Read more their home providing individualized attention to each child can be seen as preferable to a daycare; that's where I can come in. I'm currently looking for a live in position, and open to travel any where at this stage in my life for the right family. I'm very respectful of house rules and personal privacy, in addition to providing additional services: house keeping, including laundry, cleaning, meal prep, etc. I am looking to not see this as simply a business transaction, but to become part of your family in my designated role. Caring for children takes love, kindness, and patience, three things I have in abundance, to work with you and come alongside you, supplementing the care you are looking for for your kids.
