I come from a family of six children, and I have a niece and nephew. In high school, I was a team leader for Challenge, a girls club. Between high school and college, I did a gap year of service and worked at Overbrook Academy, a boarding school in Rhode Island. During that year, I specifically helped to supervise a group of 20 to 30 girls, grades 6 through 8. I woke them up in the morning, helped them get ready for school, supervised meals and study halls, got them to bed, and went with them on outings for the weekends. I also acted as a chaperone for them on a trip to Rome, Italy. Currently, I am in my second year of nursing school and have clinical experience in the hospital. I will be graduating with a BSN in 2017.
