hi! My name is Isabel (my friends call me Izzy) and I'm a 23 yr old college graduate born and bred in Manhattan. A future midwife and current doula, I've been babysitting/nannying for 10+ years in NYC (and, briefly, Madrid!). I've worked with every kind of family and every kind of kid, gone on vacations with families and even run my own impromptu summer camp at the request of several of my families! My approach to childcare is centered on my belief that every kids, no matter how small, has a distinct personality--opinions, questions about the world, a sense of humor--and that this personality needs to be understood and nurtured in order for that child to grow into a happy and healthy adult.
