Hi there! My name is Samantha and I'm originally from Rochester, NY, but currently finishing my first year of medical school in Maine! I love kids and hopefully want to specialize in Pediatrics. I've babysat for four different families on my street when I was in high school. The year before I started medical school, I found two wonderful families through Sittercity and absolutely loved babysitting for both of them. I've also cared for kids with special needs--I am a camp counselor for kids with Muscular Dystrophy at MDA camp every summer (2016 will be my 6th year of camp) and a camp counselor for Sunshine Camp (2016 will be my 3rd year of camp), both located at the Rochester Rotary Sunshine Campus. Both MDA and Sunshine Camp hold a special place in my heart--it is an honor to be able to work with children of all abilities and to Read more see them grow up over the years has been so amazing. From 2013-2015, I worked at Highland Hospital as a Companion Sitter where I sat with patients that need 1:1 supervision. From 2010-2015, I also worked at Panera Bread. I am an active runner, rower (I rowed at UB in college!) I love to knit, read, and spend time with my friends and family.
