Since I was a child myself I loved taking care of other children. I was always the mature one of all the children, and that eventually led to me becoming the babysitter as soon as I was 13 years old. My mother was a single parent of 4, and my younger siblings are 10 years - 13 years younger than me, so of course I always helped my mother. When I turned 16 I was able to work through oneida county daycare to watch my siblings and be able to make some cash. I loved hanging out with them and taking care of them so much that most of the money that I made went to bringing them places like the zoo, movie theaters, monster jam, museums, parks and many more places. When I finally had my own house I started accepting other children into my daycare where I was Read more able to make it more professional atmosphere. I planned out each day at the end of each week for the following week. I would plan healthy meals, learning activities, free play, outings and naps. I also helped parents with potty training, and teaching their children the skills they would need to go into school and while in school. I initially wanted to be a nurse, but found myself so happy in what I was already doing that I felt like I'd rather make this a career than just a side job. I'm 23 years old and I do not have my own children yet. I love working with children of all ages. I am willing to travel, cook, clean and do any work around the house along with providing a fun and safe learning environment for the child/ children.
