Hello! I'm Ashley. I am currently completing a year of volunteer service with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps in Cleveland, Ohio playing adapted sports and recreational activities with children with physical disabilities. I recently graduated from St. Joseph's University in 2014 with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. Within the next couple of years, I plan to attend graduate school and pursue a degree in Occupational Therapy. In the meantime, I am going back to school part-time in New Jersey, and I'm looking for a 30-40 hour a week nannying position. I have 10+ years of nannying/babysitting experience. During college, I worked with three wonderful families, each of which I developed close relationships with over the years. I have the most experience working with children ages 2-13, but I am comfortable working with children of all different ages and abilities. I have worked extensively with children with physical disabilities, so I am Read more very accustomed to assisting children with feeding and personal care needs. As a nanny, some of my responsibilities have included preparing meals and snacks, light housekeeping, and driving children to and from activities. I have also done overnight care, assisting children with their morning and bedtime routines, as well as provided help with homework. Some of the things that I enjoy most about nannying is spending time with children reading, playing games, crafting, and having fun outdoors. I enjoy staying active, so I always try to encourage and model that behavior for any of the children that I care for.
