Hey there, I am a 26 year old experienced Australian nanny. I am currently living in Briarcliff Manor and working as a before and after school nanny. I am looking for additional hours on the weekend, babysitting and occasional ad-hoc hours during weekdays. My most recent position was working as a Professional Full Time Nanny in Sydney, Australia with 18 month old twins and a 3 year old. I was responsible for all aspects of the twins care including activities, meals and appointments as well as some light housekeeping. I worked a 55 hour week. A typical day would look like: 7am: Help parents with getting breakfast for the children 7.30: Parents go to work and I will tidy up and walk or drive 3 year old to daycare with the twins 8.00: Organise an activity for the twins for the morning usually a playgroup, play date, appointment (if needed) Read more or outing 11.00: Prepare a simple and nutritious lunch for the twins 12.00: Get boys changed and put them down for a nap and then tidy up after lunch 2.00- 2.30: Boys wake and usually give them bottles, an afternoon snack and a bath 3.30-4.00: Walk or drive to pick up 3 year old 4.30: Have a play outside, run around, jump on trampoline etc 5.00: Prepare a simple and nutritious meal for dinner such as chicken and veggies, tacos, omelette with veggies and cheese 6.00: Tidy up after dinner, read books and get kids ready for bed 6.30:Parents arrive home and take over. I have extensive experience working with children from the ages of 4 months to 15 years. I have the following: -Australian Working with children check (NSW and VIC) - Senior First Aid - Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificate - Australian Police Check Previous employers would describe me as hands on, very involved and focused on children's development.
