I am a mother of two daughters. Ihave three grandchildren 3,4 and 14. I have 13 years experience in childcare, I have worked with children from newborn to teen. My most recent nanny job has been with a family for the last year with a two-year-old son , we enjoy walking over to the library‘s and doing story time and music classes three or four times a week .we spend a lot of time at the park we play with cars trains we build with our blocks we like painting together. We like reading books we like doing arts and crafts over the summer we spend a couple of hours each day at the pool swimming .And . I make lunch and dinner for the little boy I get him dressed every day change diapers .With the older children that I have taken we do baking , Arts and crafts Read more ,with Them I have donehomework .I drive them back-and-forth to their play groups and play dates have practice soccer with them basketball with them did a little dancing with them. In between that I have done laundry for the families cook meals for the families light housekeeping making beds . I’ve played Barbie dolls with them superheroes. First 17 years I was a nurses aide in a hospital named Horton hospital up in Middletown New York In that position I fed patients dress patients made their beds wash them walk them reported back-and-forth to the families with any needs that they had I love being with children . Terry watched my two girls for over two years and was all-around stellar. My girls love Terry - she will be sorely missed. An excellent caretaker - she never stopped moving and kept up with my girls. She went above and beyond what I asked of her, and stuck with us through the pandemic - pivoting seamlessly to helping out with home schooling. Terry did an excellent job managing playdates as well. I actually learned a lot from Terry, and learned how to be a better parent myself, just watching her interact with my girls. Unfortunately our needs have recently changed and as much as it pains us to move on to a different caregiver, I am hopeful another family will have the honor of Terry watching their child or children. She has been simply wonderful.
