I have been caring children for over six years now. This has ranged from babysitting for parents going out for date nights during the weekend to a full time position of upwards of 40 hours per week. Ages have ranged from four months to the early teens. I also have plentiful experience in watching multiple children at one time (3+ most often), as this was my usual job up until this point. While caring for children, I have prepared breakfast, lunch and dinner. These meals have ranged from something quick like a sandwich to multiple course meals depending on the dietary requests of the parents. Furthermore, I have completed housekeeping tasks from light to heavy cleaning and organizing. I am not squeamish whatsoever when it comes to diapers, spit up, and drool for younger children. I also make sure to never leave the house less tidy than when I arrived, Read more no matter what the children have been up to throughout the day. I am very interested in providing a creative environment for the children while watching them. This ranges from completing crafts, playing outside, or going to children's museums and other fun destinations (depending entirely on your comfort level). I am an English major, so I love reading to the children as much as possible more than anything else, especially books that they find interesting! Overall, I am a very hands on care giver to the children, and want to be as active as possible in both physical activity as well as creative. I hope to hear from you soon!
