I am an assistant teacher at a daycare/preschool. I have been employed September 2012. I work with infants as small as 3 months, all the way to kids up to 12 years (we have an after school program). I enjoy my job in CT but my grandfather is getting old and I have to head back down to take care of him. Being a nanny is always something I enjoyed. I usually go by a scheduled day because it tends to help the child become familiar with routine. I usually don't use much technology because I believe that children can create much more on their own without being absorbed into a screen. That being said, I still enjoy putting on an old Disney flick on a rainy day. I also focus on motor skills, writing, and reading at older ages (tummy time for the younger infants). I have my own Read more car to travel back and forth with. I am available Friday-Sunday for interviews because i do have to make the 2 hour drive.
