I have 4 years of experience as a nanny, including the past year and a half as a full-time nanny working for a family in Manhattan. I have also worked as a day-care teacher and still working part-time as a Gifted and Talented teacher with pre-K children. Overall, I've worked with children of 1.8 to 16 years old. Since I've worked in class-room settings, I can manage working with more that one child at a time. I also have extensive experience working with twins. I enjoy working as a nanny because I like interacting with children, playing with them, teaching them whatever I can about this amazing world, and of course learning from them too. I have a BA in Psychology, which, I believe, helps me understand why children are the way they are and makes my experience working with them much more fun. I am a fan of Gifted Read more and Talented education, so I do my best to apply it when possible too. I don’t mind some light work around the house, as long as the children remain my primary focus. I am bilingual in English and Russian.
