Hello, my name is Nancy. Growing up I resided in my parents home, which was a NYS Group Home and took care of a vast array of individuals. Upon receiving my HS Diploma I joined the US Navy, becoming a US Naval Hospital Corpsman Veteran. I returned to school, was a NYS Emergency Medical Technician for 10 years, a Labor & Delivery Operating Room Technician for 9 years, in a local hospital and a Patient Care Assistant for 6 years. During this time I was married/divorced and raised my 3 children as a single parent. They are now ages 29, 27 and 25. Since then I have been in a Domestic Partnership with a wonderful man for 5 years, who has a beautiful 12 year old daughter, I have a brilliant 3 year old Grandson and I haven't worked in about 2 years. While out of work, I started a Read more home-based Chocolate/ Baked Goods business, became an International Nanny Association member in 2015 and took a defensive driving course. In May 2015 I re-certified my American Health Care Academy Adult, Child, Infant CPR & AED Training and completed an American Red Cross Advanced Child Care Training certificate program. I have over 35 years of progressive Healthcare experience and am ready to rejoin the workforce. I am reliable, trustworthy and capable of working with a team or individually. My preference would be to acquire a day job, Monday through Friday and believe I will be a good fit for your job posting.
