I am a 23-year-old graduate of SUNY New Paltz with a degree in communication disorders, I plan to attend graduate school to pursue a career in speech pathology. I have always loved children and have been caring for them since my early teens. I have been a caregiver for infants and toddlers as well as adolescents and teens. I have worked as a camp counselor ages 5-7 and as a teacher’s assistant in a preschool for children ages 3-5. Most recently I have worked as a teacher's assistant at a residential school for children with autism ranging in ages 7-21 years old. I am certified in CPR and first aid and have completed trainings on how to provide a positive learning environment for children who are on the spectrum.
