Hello and welcome! I am a teaching professional with over ten years of experience in education. My vast experience enables me to tutor your child in reading in addition to providing childcare. My passion for reading has helped many students increase their reading levels by 2- 6 grade levels. In addition to assisting with childcare for my adolescent niece and nephew currently, I was responsible for a three and seven-year-old for over nine years. I am passionate about what I do, I feel that with consistency and kindness, a child can become a productive member of society. I am extremely comfortable with pets, (especially dogs) and would be happy to walk them with your children as needed. My experience as a teacher has allowed me to build a repertoire of interactive games and the patience needed to make sure children get the focused attention they need. My students have described Read more me as fun, firm, consistent, and patient. I am always willing to go the extra mile to make sure children feel appreciated and loved. I also have vast experience in working with parents and the surrounding communities in which I worked. I like to keep an open line of communication so I can make sure I am meeting and exceeding your expectations. I would make sure to be available on my days off if it is pertinent to making sure your child's needs are met. I am very active and I would like to be able to do fun activities outdoors whenever possible. I have found that being outdoors with other children build social and fine motor skills. It also makes for a much happier child! I have excellent references and as a teacher, you can feel safe as I am routinely required to do background checks and fingerprints when I have applied to teach and volunteer.
