I have always known that I wanted to work with children. I started babysitting when I was just 10 years old and I loved it! Since then, I have had many different experiences working with children. I worked as a Parks and Recreation Leader for the Town of Geddes for two summers and I was responsible for organizing fun activities for the children to participate in. Then I worked two summers as a Youth Enrichment Specialist for Say Yes to Education where I taught dance to kindergartners and 3rd/4th graders. In the 2012-2013 school year, I worked in Porter's After School Program where I taught dance as well as academic subjects such as ELA, math, science, and social studies to kindergartners and third graders. For two years, I worked as a substitute teacher at West Genesee School Distirct, Westhill School District, and Jowonio School (an inclusion preschool). This past summer Read more I worked as a daycare provider at Learn as You Grow. I recently graduated student from Le Moyne College with a Masters degree in Childhood and Special Education (Grades 1-6). I have my Initial NYS Teaching Certification in Early Childhood (birth-grade 2) and Students with Disabilities (birth-grade 2). Additionally, I also have PA Teaching Certifications in Early Childhood (birth-grade 3) and Special Education (birth-grade 12). Please feel free to contact me with any questions that you may have.
