I've been babysitting children/infants all my life really. It started with my younger brother and family members, then gradually was asked by fellow neighbors and other family friends to take care of their children. I truly love kids, their ability to just see life through their lenses, to always have a smile on their face no matter what it was makes my day. When I'm down, I know just even 10 minutes of play time, listening to their joke or funny quirks can put a smile on anyone's face! My most memorable moment I think was babysitting my neighbors daughter (6 at the time, she's 15 now! Time flies) she decided she wanted to play Hannah Montana and be a rockstar so we got in our rockstar gear (I was wearing a pretty nifty pink boa with matching sunglasses) and while she sang I did my own rendition of air Read more guitar. We both had a blast and ended our night with pizza and movies. Ever since then I babysat her when her parents were away and through her family and other friends I've been able my to babysit lots of other lovable children. Even if your child is shy I feel that there's always a way to connect with your child and I have the patience and diligence to figure it out!
