I have worked with children throughout my life in many different roles, My experience as a caregiver started at 16 years old as a babysitter and tutor for children between the ages of 6-10 years old. From then on I have worked in many leadership and management positions but have always had a passion for working with children and continued to do so by volunteering part time with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Dutchess County and being an active member of my communities Youth Group Programs with different non-profits and affiliated church groups. Now I am currently working full time as a Preschool Teacher, I have been working as a Preschool Teacher for over a year. I love being a part of children's development and growth and enjoy teaching my students new material each day. Primarily I work with children ages 2 - 4 years old, in my classroom I Read more am working with the children on learning and recognizing numbers and letters and later beginning to write the alphabet and spell their names. Being able to see the progress each child makes while in my classroom is one of my favorite parts of my job. Working at a day care/ early education center gives me the opportunity and flexibility to work with children of all ages as early as infancy to school age. I thoroughly enjoy working with children of all ages and believe there is nothing more rewarding than working as a caregiver.
