I am the mother of five adult children along with being a Birth Doula in the past, as well as a Post Partum Doula for the past fifteen years. I became a Birth Doula because I had very positive birth experiences and I wanted to give back to the community helping women have empowering births. I gave up being a Birth Doula because I found it very hard "being on call". I found that being a Post Partum Doula was very rewarding. Helping families take care of their newborns, as well as other children in the family, with my knowledge, experience and caring is very fulfilling to me. I have become a Nanny over the years simply because I have stayed with families for years instead of days or months. I love taking care of young ones, and seeing life through their eyes.
