I started caring for children when I was around 16 after I received my RedCross babysitting license. I went on to care for children for longer periods of times once I was older, staying overnight and taking some of my wonderful children on field trips. I am CPR and First Aid Training Certified through the Red Cross because I have also been a Lifeguard for over 5 years. I love to teach as well, as I am working towards becoming a teacher when the time is right. I currently have had the most experience at DoodleBugs Children's Center where I work with ages 8 weeks to 12 years old preparing meals(for infants), changing diapers, teaching based off of NYS curriculum standards, and over all giving the children the best experience they can have as young ones. I absolutely love seeing children accomplish new things they were at first nervous to Read more try. It is truly the best feeling to have as a caregiver. While it is important to maintain the health and safety of a child, it is also so important that as a caregiver you are focusing on their developmental skills as well so they can better interact in their environment. I am accepting of any child that comes my way with any disabilities or setbacks. Every child deserves to be loved and appreciated just the way they are.
