I have very much experience with children and am a certified elementary school teacher. I have worked as a nanny for the past five years for two little girls and have babysat for many other families over the years. I also coached a cheerleading team with 28 young girls for two years. I have just recently graduated with the highest academic honors from Marist College with a degree in psychology, education and special education. While in college I worked at a daycare and preschool. I was a teaching assistant at the preschool for children ages 3-5. I also worked as a childcare professional at the daycare in the mornings and afternoons caring for children ages 3-13. My job included preparing breakfast and after school snacks, organizing indoor and outdoor games/activities, planning and organizing crafts and much more. I went on field trips with the students and made many memories. I Read more also worked in multiple schools as a volunteer and student teacher. I worked in a fifth grade classroom and taught the entire curriculum for three months. I then spent my next three months working in an intensive behavior treatment facility. Within this facility were children ages 5 to 12 who were removed from the original classroom due to an extreme behavioral crisis. I helped to assist these children in their academic and behavioral learning and development. I have many stories to tell about my amazing experiences in these classrooms!
